Training for the Future is an Utopian training camp where audiences are turned into trainees to pre-enact alternative scenarios and reclaim the means of production of the future. Its faculty of trainers consists of futurologists, extraterritorial activists, trans-nationalists, theatre makers, artists, and many others, each of which offer concrete exercises in alternatives to present-day crises.
Training for the Future is a project by Jonas Staal, curated and co-programmed by Florian Malzacher. Supported by Ruhrtriennale, Mondriaan Foundation, Goethe Institut and Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung.
