advances new ways of being a museum through critical discourse, community building & collaborative practice related to equity in museums. They are a space to build community around issues of equity in museums, a resource for current research and practice related to equity, a platform for critical dialogue that advances the ways in which we understand, talk about, and enact equity in museums, and a project that weaves digital and offline engagements to catalyse ‘next practices’.
They regularly do museum consultations and develop practice-based projects that explore what it means to be an ‘inclusive’ museum. They also continue to apply their expertise on equity and social justice efforts in museums to workshops, conference presentations, trainings, exhibits, advisory positions, and publications.
The Incluseum is facilitated and co-directed by Dr. Porchia Moore, Aletheia Wittman and Rose Paquet.
