Museum Detox is a London-based organisation championing fair representation of BAME cultural, intellectual and creative contributions. It challenges and works to deconstruct systems of inequality to enable a cultural sector where the workforce and audience is reflective of the UK’s 21st century population.
Members work in museums but also in galleries, libraries, archives, and wider cultural organisations. Museum Detox holds both members only events and events open to non members, addressing challenges and spreading strategies.
