Disability Reframed is a South Carolina-based collaborative online learning community built out of a need for societal re-education on disability founded by Ashley Harris Whaley. Disability Reframed combines self-learning with open dialogue and conversation to create a space where decades old attitudes towards disability, disabled lives, and disabled people are dismantled, examined, and then thoughtfully rebuilt.

DR can be booked for a variety of virtual and in-person events, and is also available for consultations and material/curriculum development. Educational topics include, but are not limited to, ableism, disability-centric language, allyship, the models of disability, and cultivating an anti-ableist practice as a healthcare provider.
