Enmedio, meaning in-between, is a Barcelona-based group of visual art professionals who felt frustrated by the lack of connections between art and society and decided to leave their regular work fields and get in the midst of things. From there, they explore the transformative power of images and stories through massive spectacular interventions, often in the form of flash mobs, using all means within their reach to disrupt dominant narratives. Initiated by Leonidas Martin, they operate on a national scale, and are connected internationally.
