Art Margins is an online and print publication that publishes original texts about contemporary art and art-related theory and philosophy from North Africa and the Middle East to the Americas, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and Australasia, with a focus on postsocialism and neoliberalism; postmodernism and postcolonialism and their critiques; and the problem of global art and global art history and its methodologies.
Art Margins has two outlets: Art Margins Online publishes interviews, essays, reviews, and podcasts devoted to contemporary art, with a non-exclusive focus on East-Central Europe and countries of the former Eastern Bloc. And Art Margins Print, a peer-reviewed triquarterly academic journal devoted to contemporary art in a global context.
